Incredible Carved Alphabet Crayons

A is for Armadillo…There is something about crayons, the original Crayola crayons, that brings back the best memories of childhood: the way they smell, their waxy texture, and the strange, often humorous, names they use for their colors. Seattle-based artist Diem Chau created a series of sculptures which are pairs of crayons, one carved into a letter and the other into a figure that starts with that letter. They are charming and meticulously crafted.
